Types & function of transformer

Transformer commonly referred to by name,is one of the tools in use for lowering,raising the voltage.But there is also a transformer in use for prevent short circuit occurs lest ..

TYPES OF TRANSFORMERS / TRANSFORMER BASED ON FUNCTIONS 

1 . STEP - UP TRANSFORMER

This transformer is used for boost     
.Characteristic features :
 - Secondary windings ( windings which are given in the output / output transformer ) more than primary winding ( windings which are given in input / input transformer ) .
 - Greater secondary voltage from primary voltage.

2 . STEP - DOWN TRANSFORMER

Step-down transformer is a type of transformer that is most often used  because the power supply function for lowering the voltage . Characteristic features :
 -Fewer secondary windings of the coil primary 
 -Secondary voltage is less than the primary voltage.


TYPES OF TRANSFORMER POWER SUPPLY

1 . TRANSFORMER ANKLE
On transformer that is used in general . It only has a large transformer output voltage which is only one kind and zero voltage.



2 . TRANSFORMER CT
Is a transformer that has a large output which amounted to two or pairs ( 6 by 6 ) but it 's got a tip transformer CT . CT is used as a negative current . Moreover the output transformer ct interchangeable in parallel ( the output can be combined but the condition must mate it is 6 to 6 or 12 to 12 ,etc).



The iron core transformer deliberately to pieces , because the pieces are air cavity forms , it is also used as a transformer coolant . This occurs because the heat flow on a large transformer and cause the heat on trafo.When we measure the input end and the output end , he would not show that between input and output is not contiguous but why no electric current flowing from input to output . This is because the electric displacement that occurs in the transformer is the transfer of electrical energy by induction . Namely the displacement of electricity without the need for intermediaries such as wire or the other . Wire that is used in the transformer are insulated wire . Iron core in use are of two kinds , namely that the form E( sternly)and I(containers )
