This feature can also combine two characters existing preamp outputs mono.For example we combine characters with Soldano SLO Marshall HiGain - 100 so we can pruduce a new character .
AMP CTL
This feature serves as a footswitch amps that we use . For example, we use the GT - 8 just as FX unit without using the preamp . So we can still change the channel amplifier that we use from clean to drive using the GT - 8 .
Dynamic Mode
With this feature we can change the dynamics of the sound simply by playing the game picking us . For example, when picking out loud the sound is when strumming quietly while the Soldano sound that comes out is a Roland Jazz Chorus.Not only that this feature could be to change the parameters of the effect . For example, when we play excerpts of its soft Gain is 40 and currently playing with the excerpts of his hard Gain to 100 . It was all just need one patch only.
Output Select
This feature is useful for tone correction . So the GT-8 will maximize the sound on the type of connection that we used.We can connect to the BOSS GT-8 and Roland JC-120 , Small Amp , Combo Amp , Stack Amp , Roland JC - 120 Return , Return Combo , Stack Return , or Line / Phones .
FX Loop
This feature allows us inserting the other effects to the BOSS GT - 8, as the FX Loop on the amplifier . There are plugs that reads Send and Return.
Microphone Simulator
On the preamp setting not only features the only cabinet simulator
(type : Original , 1X8 , 1x10 , 1x12 , 4x10 , 2x12 , 4x12 , and 8x12 ) .
But it also provides features Microphone Placement simulator and its once.

This feature allows us to design a preamp , od , cabinets , and custom wah pedal based on a particular brand . For example, we want to create a custom preamp based on Marshall HiGain or designing a wah pedal with a new character based on Vox Wah pedal .
FX Chain
This feature is the simulation of the preparation of our securities . For example, we put overdrive before or after the preamp , dsb.We can arrange the order appropriate with our taste.
Of the many things above the following is a summary of some of the weaknesses that I encountered on the GT-8 guitar effects :
-Sound presets, including EZ Tones are provided by the manufacturer, not too good.
-Gain parameter that is provided (preamp & OD) to 120 (turbo) made redundant features and a new alternative to the establishment of sound distortion. Because if we use too much, the resulting sound becomes not so clear.
-Action pedal is less deep
-Less practical because the size is too big and heavy weight
-Not available metronome
-Not available USB connection but we still could use midi cable to be connected to the computer and download the new patch from the internet that requires a fairly complicated arrangement.
